After beginning his career in wealth management, Allan transitioned into the luxury concierge space, identifying a gap between transactional online booking platforms and truly tailored, high-trust service. Today, A2Z Concierge operates in Dubai’s ultra-high-net-worth ecosystem, providing seamless access to exclusive experiences while maintaining a reputation built almost entirely through referrals.

In this interview, Chad Allan shares his entrepreneurial journey, lessons from building A2Z, his vision for a private UHNW network, and how he views the role of AI in luxury services.

From Wealth Management to Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurial journeys are rarely linear. We asked: “Tell us about your journey into entrepreneurship.”

Chad Allan responded,  “I moved to Dubai at 20 years old with no network, no safety net, and very little certainty about what the future would look like. I began my career in wealth management nine years ago, and like many entrepreneurs, my journey was far from linear. There were setbacks, financial pressure, and moments of real doubt.

Through those challenges, I discovered something fundamental about myself. I was naturally a problem solver. I could see gaps. I could understand what someone needed, often before they fully articulated it themselves. More importantly, I knew how to bridge that gap in a way that genuinely added value.

During my time in wealth management, I was training 40 to 50 new starters weekly, ranging from 21 to 50 years old. Leadership and communication became strengths. But in the evenings, I would sit and write ideas. Ways I could create something of my own that truly helped people.

Identifying the Gap in Dubai’s Luxury Market

Dubai is synonymous with luxury, yet true personalization is rare. We asked: “What inspired you to launch A2Z Concierge?”

Chad Allan responded, “I noticed that truly tailored service in Dubai, whether it was booking a yacht, planning an engagement, or arranging a unique experience, was incredibly difficult to access unless you had a man on the ground you could trust.

There was a clear gap between standard online booking platforms and ultra-exclusive private services.

So I started small. Renting jet skis and smaller yachts. Personally tailoring food and beverage, watersports, entertainment, and custom experiences. If a client needed something, I would make it happen. No matter the request.

I built the foundation of A2Z while still working in wealth management. When COVID hit, I made the decision to fully commit. Working from home gave me the space to test whether this vision could become something sustainable.

When lockdown ended, the surge in demand was immediate. Engagements, private yacht charters, sold-out restaurant reservations. Everything came organically through referrals. That’s when I knew I had built something real.”

In a market defined by access, differentiation lies in execution. We asked: “What sets A2Z apart in the luxury concierge space?”

Chad Allan responded, “Consistency. In the concierge world, particularly when dealing with UHNW clients, there is no margin for error. The service must be seamless every single time. Not sometimes. Not most of the time.

Lessons Learned as a Founder

Building in the luxury sector demands discipline. We asked: “What have been your biggest lessons as a founder?”

Chad Allan responded, “Time management and leverage.

Early on, I realised that efficiency is everything. If something can be handled over a call rather than a two-hour meeting, do it. If something can be arranged digitally without compromising service, streamline it.

Luxury clients value time more than anything. Respecting that is non-negotiable.

Another lesson is reputation. In this industry, your name is your currency. Every single booking, no matter how small, contributes to that.”

The Vision Behind the Upcoming Private Network

As A2Z grows, Allan is expanding into a more structured ecosystem. We asked: “Tell us about your upcoming private network.”

Chad Allan responded, “We are currently developing a private network for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. This will provide access to the most exclusive locations, restaurants, yachts, and sold-out global events.

The goal is to merge high-touch personal service with smart infrastructure, anticipating needs before they arise.

It’s not just about access. It’s about trust, discretion, and flawless execution.”

The Role of AI in Luxury Concierge

AI is reshaping industries across the board. We asked: “How do you see AI impacting industries like yours?”

Chad Allan responded, “AI will redefine success in 90 percent of industries.

Companies won’t just use AI for automation. They will rebuild entire workflows around it. New business models will emerge. Efficiency will increase dramatically.

However, in a luxury concierge, AI will enhance service, not replace it. The human element, emotional intelligence, and discretion will always be irreplaceable at the top level.”

Advice for Entering the Concierge Industry

Reputation is foundational in luxury services. We asked: “What advice would you give to someone entering the concierge industry?”

Chad Allan responded, “Start small.

Take on a limited number of clients and deliver the highest level of service possible. Obsess over detail. Protect your reputation.

In this industry, word-of-mouth is everything. If you serve five clients exceptionally well, they will bring you fifty more.

Luxury is not about scale first. It’s about standards first.”
